Henry Clay was one of the most remembered War Hawk. Not only was he a war hawk he also ran for president but lost the election and throw his vote to to John Quincy Adams. He try to run for president three times but all lost all of those times. After the lost to Zachary Taylor in 1848 he decided to retire.
